Data on timber production in Malaysia is collected via establishment-level surveys and censuses conducted by the Forestry Department. Accordingly, this data reflects the production of establishments registered with Forestry Department of Peninsular Malaysia, Forestry Department of Sabah, Forestry Department of Sarawak, and Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation only. From a definitional perspective, it should be noted that:
National totals may be slightly different to the sum of state values due to rounding.

product (Categorical) | Product Type | The type of timber product in snake case; the 6 major products covered are logs, sawn timber, plywood, veneer, blockboard (discontinued since 2013), and moulding. |
